STATBUS

STATBUS is a web application system for statistical business registers which is important for any national statistical office.

The tool for storing and maintaining information on businesses from administrative sources, surveys, and censuses.
Licensed as open source.
Based on UN international guidelines for development and maintenance of statistical business registers.
The backbone in production for economic statistics.
The authoritative source used for drawing samples and making national economic statistics.

The STATBUS project was initiated by Statistics Norway and the National Statistical Committee (NSC) of the Kyrgyz Republic, and is now administered jointly by a steering committee with representatives from Statistics Norway, Statistics Sweden, Statistics Denmark, Statistics Finland and the Asian Development Bank. Statbus is developed by Statistics Norway in Oslo.
